Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, established in 1859, offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.

Beginning in the Fall of 2014, every admitted undergraduate student enrolling for the first time at Cooper Union receives a half-tuition scholarship currently valued at $22,275 per academic year. Students will automatically be considered for additional merit based scholarship through the admissions process.
