Housing Works is a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Their mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services, and entrepreneurial businesses that sustain our efforts. They have volunteering opportunities in their Bookstore and Thrifts Shops. They offer healthcare which includes primary care, dental care, case management, wellness and prevention, youth services, behavioral health and substance use, and an AIDS adult day community healthcare. Some other services they offer through their healthcare program include housing, job training, and legal services. HAVE HOUSING WORKS' PROGRAMS AND SERVICES BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19? While Housing Works scaled back their brick-an-mortar retail spaces (e.g., closed Thrift Shops, etc.), their clinics remain open. Housing Works is also running an emergency homeless shelter for individuals with COVID-19.
